Product & Size
What is a Claymio figure?
A Claymio figure is a handmade polymer clay keepsake created from your photo and confirmed preview direction. It is designed as a personal gift or display piece, not a mass-produced toy.
Is Claymio handmade or 3D printed?
Claymio figures are handmade with polymer clay. They are not 3D printed, and each figure is individually made for the customer.
How big is a Claymio figure?
A single adult figure is about 18 cm tall, including the base. Child and pet figures may be adjusted proportionally to match the design.
Does the size include the base?
Yes. The listed height refers to the overall height of the figure and base together.
Do you offer different sizes?
For the first phase, Claymio offers one default size. Since every piece is handmade, the final size may vary slightly.
Is it full-body or half-body?
Claymio currently offers full-body figures only. Half-body, bust, and head-only versions are not available for now.
Where should I display my Claymio figure?
Claymio figures are best displayed on a desk, shelf, display cabinet, or inside a gift setup. They are made as keepsakes, not toys for frequent handling.
Is the figure fragile?
The figure is not extremely fragile, but it should still be treated as a handmade display piece. Avoid drops, heavy pressure, moisture, and frequent movement.
Photos & Likeness
What kind of photo should I upload?
Clear, front-facing photos with good lighting work best. If you want us to notice hairstyle, outfit, pose, or small details, you can provide extra reference photos.
Is one photo enough?
One clear main photo is enough to start a preview. Additional photos can help us better understand angles, hairstyle, outfit details, or the overall look you want.
Can I upload outfit, pose, or accessory references?
Yes. You can upload reference images to show the outfit, pose, accessory, or style direction you want.
Will the final figure look like the person?
Claymio aims to keep recognizable features such as face shape, hairstyle, outfit, and overall personality. However, it is a handmade stylized figure, not a photo-realistic replica.
Can you keep details like glasses, beard, hats, or hairstyle?
Yes. If these features are clear in the photos and suitable for handmade production, we will do our best to include them.
What if my photo is not clear?
You may still try creating a preview, but unclear photos can affect the design direction and likeness. We may recommend a clearer photo if needed.
Preview & Revisions
Can I see a preview before ordering?
Yes. Claymio is preview-first. You can create and review your preview before checkout, then place an order after choosing a direction you like.
What is a Claymio preview?
A Claymio preview is a visual design direction based on your photo. It helps you choose the outfit, pose, base text, and overall look before handmade production begins.
Is the preview the final product?
No. The preview is a design reference. The final product is a handmade polymer clay figure, so small differences in material, texture, color, and hand-shaped details are natural.
Can I try different outfits, poses, or styles?
Yes. Before checkout, you can explore different outfit and pose directions, such as everyday style, graduation, career outfits, wedding looks, travel styles, or other gift-ready ideas.
Can I adjust the preview before checkout?
Yes. Before checkout, you can keep adjusting the preview direction until you find a version you are happy with. This preview exploration is currently free.
Will I receive a confirmed preview after placing the order?
After checkout, we will send order confirmation information by email and keep your confirmed preview direction as the production reference.
Can I request changes after payment?
If you need a small adjustment after payment, please contact us by email as soon as possible. We will try to help before the order enters full production.
Can I change the design after production starts?
Major changes are usually not possible after handmade production begins. This includes changing the person, changing the full theme, or making large pose or outfit changes.
Will the handmade figure look exactly like the preview?
No. The preview is a design reference, not an exact guarantee. Because each piece is handmade, slight differences in texture, shape, color, and hand-finished details are expected.
What is Final Photo Check?
Final Photo Check is the final product photo we send by email before shipping. It lets you review the completed handmade figure before it leaves our studio.
Can I request changes during Final Photo Check?
You can request reasonable small corrections, such as minor detail fixes, text corrections, or clear deviations from the confirmed direction. Final Photo Check is not a full redesign or remake stage.
What happens if I do not reply to the Final Photo Check email?
If we do not hear back within 5 calendar days after sending the Final Photo Check, we may consider the figure approved and ship the order to avoid long delays.
Customization Scope & Limits
Can I customize the outfit and pose?
Yes. Outfit and pose are part of the Claymio customization experience.
Can I add accessories or base text?
Yes. Small details attached to the person, such as glasses, hats, clothing details, or a coffee cup, are generally supported. Base text can also be added.
What are the limits for base text?
Base text should stay short for readability. We recommend 1–3 English words, up to about 18 characters including spaces. Names, dates, short titles, or simple themes work best.
Can you make couples, families, pets, or multi-person figures?
Yes. Claymio can support multiple people, pets, and person + pet combinations. Pricing may vary by complexity, so please contact us for these orders.
Can you make graduation, doctor, nurse, wedding, or travel themes?
Yes. These directions are usually created through outfit and styling choices, such as graduation gowns, medical uniforms, wedding outfits, or travel-inspired clothing.
What types of requests may not be possible?
Claymio works best for full-body keepsake figures focused on the person, outfit, and small details. Very large props, full scenes, explicit content, or designs that are too complex for handmade production may not be supported.
Can I add a large prop or full scene?
Large standalone props and full scenes are not supported for now. We currently focus on the figure itself and small person-attached details.
Can you make celebrities, public figures, or copyrighted characters?
Please only upload photos or references you have the right to use. We may not accept requests involving celebrities, public figures, or copyrighted characters without proper permission.
Ordering, Price & Timeline
How much does a single Claymio figure cost?
The current price for a single adult/person figure is USD $119.
What is included in the price?
The price includes preview creation, handmade production, standard protective packaging, Final Photo Check, and free standard shipping.
Is AI Preview included in the price?
Yes. Preview creation is part of the Claymio process and is currently included at no extra charge.
Do small accessories cost extra?
Small details that are part of the person's look, such as glasses, hats, clothing details, or a coffee cup, are generally included. Large standalone props are not supported for now.
How are multi-person or pet combination orders priced?
Multi-person, pet, and person + pet orders are not priced by simply multiplying the single-person price. Since complexity varies, please contact us for a quote.
Do you accept bulk orders?
Yes. For team gifts, event gifts, or other bulk customization needs, please contact us by email for a quote and timeline.
How long does production take?
Production usually takes 8–10 business days after paid order confirmation.
How long does shipping take?
Shipping usually takes 5–7 business days after dispatch. Remote areas or peak seasons may take longer.
How long will it take to receive my order?
In most cases, the full timeline is about 13–17 business days from paid order confirmation to delivery. Remote areas, peak seasons, or logistics delays may take longer.
Do you offer rush orders?
Rush service is not available for now. If you need the figure for a birthday, graduation, wedding, anniversary, or holiday, we recommend ordering 3–4 weeks in advance.
Shipping, Packaging & Gifts
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship to most major countries and regions worldwide.
How is shipping calculated?
Standard shipping is currently included in the product price. For the standard single-person figure, the USD $119 price already includes shipping.
Will I receive tracking information?
Yes. After your order ships, we will provide tracking information so you can follow the delivery status.
Can you ship directly to the gift recipient?
Yes. You can enter the recipient's address at checkout, and we can ship the order directly to them.
Will the package include a price slip?
No. We do not include a price slip in the package by default.
Do you offer gift boxes or greeting cards?
Gift boxes and greeting cards are not available for now. Current orders use standard protective packaging.
What occasions is Claymio good for?
Claymio makes a meaningful gift for birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, weddings, career milestones, family memories, couples, friends, and pet memorial keepsakes.
Returns, After-Sales & Privacy
Can I cancel or refund a custom order?
Once an order enters production, it usually cannot be cancelled or refunded. Claymio figures are personalized products made specifically for each customer.
What if I do not like the final result?
Please raise concerns during Final Photo Check before shipping. We will try to handle reasonable small adjustments at that stage. After shipping, we do not offer refunds for subjective preference.
What if my figure arrives damaged?
If your figure arrives damaged, please contact us within 3 calendar days after delivery and provide clear unboxing or damage photos. After verification, we will arrange a replacement.
What if my parcel is lost or tracking does not update?
If tracking has no meaningful update for an extended period, please contact us. If a parcel appears lost in transit, usually after around 15 business days without meaningful tracking updates, we will review the case and arrange a replacement when appropriate.
What if I entered the wrong shipping address?
If the order has not shipped, contact us as soon as possible and we will update the address. If it has already shipped, we will try to help, but we cannot guarantee a successful address change or parcel recall.
How will my uploaded photos be used?
Your photos are used only to create your preview and complete your custom order. They will not be used for other purposes without permission.
Will my photos be displayed publicly?
No. We will not publicly display your photos without your clear permission.
How long do you keep my photos?
Order-related photos are generally retained for up to about 90 days and then deleted. You can also contact us by email to request earlier deletion.
Can I contact you before ordering?
Yes. If you are unsure about your photo, style, timeline, or customization request, please contact us by email before ordering.
How will I receive preview and Final Photo Check images?
Preview-related information, order confirmation, and Final Photo Check images are usually sent by email. Please make sure your email address is correct and check your inbox.
How fast do you reply?
We usually reply to email inquiries within 48 hours.
